HYROX100 — Logo for a 100-Day World Record

Logo design for HYROX100, Simon Gronau's RID-certified world record project: 100 consecutive HYROX Pro Races in 100 days, documented daily on hyrox100.de and YouTube.

  • Project Challenge:

A world record attempt of this scale needs more than a name — it needs a face. The HYROX100 logo had to communicate the brutal simplicity of the challenge — 100 days, 100 races, no pause — and perform everywhere at once: as a thumbnail on daily YouTube livestreams, on social media, on apparel, and in press coverage, staying instantly legible from day 1 to day 100.

  • Project Solution:

We designed a logo that puts the number at the center of the story: 'HYROX' set in heavy, compressed block capitals with the '100' stacked beneath — flanked by speed lines that turn the number into a racing badge in motion. Below it, Simon Gronau's handwritten signature adds the human dimension: this record is a personal promise, signed daily. The mark comes in two versions — a clean cut for digital use, and a textured, battle-worn edition whose distressed surface tells the story of 100 days of grind, made for apparel and merchandise. Executed strictly in one color, the logo works everywhere the challenge lived — as a YouTube thumbnail on 100 daily livestreams, on shirts and event backdrops, in press features — and stays legible from full-screen broadcast graphics down to a favicon.

Project Development

100 days. 100 HYROX Pro Races. No rest day. With HYROX100, athlete and fitness coach Simon Gronau completed one of the most extreme endurance challenges ever attempted in Germany — certified as an official world record by the Rekord-Institut für Deutschland (RID) in July 2026. We designed the logo of the project: the face of a challenge that was broadcast daily on YouTube, followed across social media, and celebrated at iconic locations like the former Berlin-Tempelhof airport.
