The Challenge
More Taste planned to launch two new baking mixes - High Protein Kaiserschmarrn and High Protein Vanilla Waffles - designed to bring classic comfort food into a high-protein, fitness-oriented product line. The goal was to develop packaging that reflects the playful and energetic More Taste brand while also meeting the technical demands of food packaging. A key challenge was identifying a sustainable, biobased pouch solution that would remain safe for food contact and still fit within the brand’s targeted price point. At the same time, the relatively small pouch format required accommodating extensive information such as nutritional values, ingredients, and baking instructions without compromising visual clarity.
Our Solution
We began with material research, identifying pouch options that balance sustainability, food safety, and cost efficiency. Once a suitable packaging format was defined, we developed the graphic design for the pouches, using bright, playful colors and bold typography that align with the More Taste visual identity and stand out clearly in both retail and social media contexts.
To manage the limited space on the pouch, we created a carefully structured layout that organizes information into clear visual zones. Nutritional information, preparation instructions, and ingredient lists were integrated in a way that remains easy to read while maintaining a clean and appealing design. The final packaging combines functional clarity with strong brand character - ensuring the products are both informative and visually engaging.
