The Challenge
For their 2025 winter drop, Yuuni wanted to expand their product range with a cozy thermo wear set — but with a fresh take. Unlike conventional thermal underwear, the set needed to be warm and soft, yet stylish and comfortable enough to be worn on its own. At the same time, the production had to meet high ethical and environmental standards, ideally made in Germany — without pushing the product out of Yuuni’s usual pricing structure, which includes garments sourced from China and Italy.
Our Solution
We designed the full Yuuni Thermo Set in-house and managed the complete development and production process. To realize the vision, we partnered with one of the last remaining fully integrated textile mills in the Schwäbische Alb region. Working hand-in-hand with their team, we refined garment patterns, developed custom fabric colors, and created multiple prototypes. The result was a soft yet structured fabric made from a 75 % cotton / 25 % recycled polyester blend — knitted, finished, and sewn entirely in Germany.
The final design strikes a balance between functionality and everyday wearability. The set is warm and breathable with a flattering cut and thoughtful details that match the cute Yuuni brand identity. The set is made for layering, lounging, or wearing on its own. And despite being fully produced in Germany, it remains price-aligned with the rest of the Yuuni collection.
